Concordia Catering, Saturnusstraat 95, 2516 AG Den Haag, The Netherlands, KVK 87729628, is the controller for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. Contact: bonjour@concordiacatering.nl. This Policy applies to our website, Home Chef webshop, catering enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, events, customer service and marketing communications.
Depending on your interaction with us, we may process your name, company name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, order details, products, quantities, event date and location, guest numbers, delivery instructions, invoice details, payment status, transaction references and correspondence. We may also process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, language, page views, referrer, UTM campaign data, cookie identifiers, cart activity, checkout activity and ecommerce events.
If you voluntarily provide information about allergies, intolerances or medically relevant dietary requirements, that information may reveal health information and may constitute special-category personal data under the GDPR. We use such information only where reasonably necessary to prepare food safely, communicate dietary requirements and handle related complaints or legal issues. We do not use allergy or health information for advertising.
We receive information directly from you when you place an order, request a quotation, submit a form, contact us, accept an offer or subscribe to marketing. We may also receive information from an event organiser, employer, business customer, ecommerce or payment provider, analytics or advertising provider, or from lawful public business sources. If you provide information about another person, you are responsible for ensuring you are entitled to do so.
We process data to prepare and perform contracts, fulfil orders and catering bookings, provide delivery or pickup, communicate with customers and handle complaints. The legal basis is generally performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract. We process accounting and other legally required records to comply with legal obligations. We may process limited data for security, fraud prevention, business administration and legal claims on the basis of legitimate interests. Marketing and non-essential tracking are based on consent where consent is legally required. Health-related allergy information is processed on an Article 9 GDPR basis, including explicit consent where required.
The Home Chef webshop is powered by Ecwid, store ID 142626763. Ecwid may process information needed for cart, checkout, customer-account and order functionality, including contact information, delivery details, cart contents, order data, checkout state and technical identifiers. Payment is handled by the payment provider made available at checkout. Concordia does not normally receive or store full payment-card credentials.
For catering and events we may process your contact information, company information, proposed event date and venue, guest numbers, menu preferences, budget, logistical requirements and dietary information. If an enquiry does not lead to a booking, we may retain the enquiry for a reasonable period for follow-up, administration and dispute prevention. If a contract is concluded, relevant information becomes part of the contractual and financial record.
Our website uses WordPress-based form functionality, including Contact Form 7 and Fluent Forms on parts of the site. Information submitted through a form is used to respond to your request and may be processed by technical providers involved in hosting or delivering the form. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 via Site Kit by Google. The confirmed Measurement ID is G-ZSFZ1FG0ZJ and the connected Google tag is GT-MJPX7G7R. Subject to consent requirements and settings, Google Analytics may process pseudonymous identifiers, page and ecommerce events, device/browser information, referrer and campaign information and approximate location derived from network information. Google Consent Mode is enabled and relevant storage signals for EEA visitors currently default to denied until consent is updated.
The website uses Meta Pixel ID 2180985699385841 and the official Meta/Facebook WordPress integration, including server-side Conversions API functionality. Where consent is required, Meta advertising and tracking processing must be based on that consent. Meta may receive website-event information such as page views, product views, cart events, checkout events and purchases together with technical and attribution identifiers. We do not send allergy or health information to Meta for advertising purposes.
We use Cookiez as our consent-management platform. Necessary technologies may operate without consent where the law permits. Non-essential tracking technologies are subject to consent where required. Our separate Cookie Policy contains the detailed register of cookies, browser storage, analytics and advertising technologies used or conditionally used on the website.
We may send marketing communications where you have consented or where Dutch law otherwise permits communication with existing customers. Each marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism where required. Unsubscribing does not prevent order, invoice, safety, service or other necessary non-marketing communications.
We disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary. Recipients may include Ecwid, payment providers, hosting and website providers, Google, Meta Platforms, Cookiez, email and communication providers, accountants and professional advisers, delivery providers, event suppliers and subcontractors, IT/security providers and public authorities where disclosure is legally required. Some providers act as processors; others may act as independent controllers for parts of their services.
Some providers may process data outside the Netherlands or European Economic Area. Where the GDPR rules on international transfers apply, transfers must rely on an appropriate legal mechanism such as an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another recognised safeguard.
We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose or legal obligation. Financial administration and invoices are generally retained for the applicable Dutch statutory period, commonly seven years. Unsuccessful enquiries and quotations are generally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact unless a longer period is justified. Marketing data is retained until consent is withdrawn, an objection is made or continued retention is no longer justified. Allergy and health-related dietary information is minimised and retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant order, food-safety issue, complaint or legal defence. Cookie retention periods are described in our Cookie Policy.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks of the processing, including access controls, secure account management, updates, backups and encrypted connections where appropriate. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Personal-data breaches are assessed and handled in accordance with applicable law, including notification duties where required.
Concordia does not ordinarily make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on customers solely by automated means. Advertising and analytics providers may use pseudonymous profiling or automated methods for measurement, audience selection or advertising optimisation where permitted by law and by the visitor’s consent settings.
Subject to the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, contact bonjour@concordiacatering.nl. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
If you believe we have handled your personal data incorrectly, please contact us first so that we can investigate. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Our services are not intended to collect personal data directly from children for advertising purposes. Where a parent, guardian, employer or event organiser provides information concerning a child for legitimate catering or dietary purposes, we process only what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, technology, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version is published on the website with an updated effective date.
